TLDR,
As a Business Development Representative at Dust, you will be instrumental in generating new business opportunities to fuel our sales pipeline. We are looking for someone with a hunger to learn, passion for Dust, and motivation to perform in a high-growth environment.
Joining Dust also means pioneering a new form of Business Development. As an AI-native company, Dust pioneers how LLMs and software redefine the sales experience, leveraging our own platform to transform how we work.
You'll contribute to building a new product and category from the ground up in a fast-paced environment that encourages a doer attitude and ownership over outcomes.
Responsibilities
Generate qualified leads and unblock opportunities. Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through targeted outreach to scale-ups and Enterprise companies. Conduct cold calls and discovery calls with technical leaders, founders, and decision-makers, understanding their pain points and connecting potential business to value.
Nurture leads until they are qualified and ready to talk with Dust. Work closely with Account Executives and Solution Engineers, providing in-depth information to convert the most qualified and productive SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads).
Continuously improve our sales motion. Determine persona targets and develop prospecting plans and strategies to gain access to key accounts. Work closely with the marketing team and GTM Engineers to experiment campaigns and double down on what works.
Be a Dust power user. Use our own platform daily to prospect, qualify, and manage your pipeline, embodying "Work AGI" by transforming your own workflows.
Requirements
1-2 years of previous BDR/SDR or sales experience (or demonstrated hunger to break into tech sales with relevant transferable skills).
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. French is a strong plus for European market coverage. Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive, curious attitude.
Curiosity, eagerness to learn, adaptability, and a flair for elegant solutions to first-of-its-kind problems. The AI space moves fast and you'll need to keep up.
Technical curiosity: You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be excited to learn about AI agents, API integrations, and how technical teams work.
A doer mentality with the ability to be flexible as the needs of Dust evolve. No job is too big or too small. We embody "See it, say it, solve it"

We're prioritizing building our team with an in-person culture at our offices in Paris and San Francisco, because we value the magic that happens when talented people work closely together.
