Software Architect / Principal Engineer - Platform

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect / Principal Engineer to join our engineering organization and help shape the technical future of Keboola’s platform. This role is pivotal in driving our technical strategy, making high-impact architectural decisions, ensuring the highest standards, and enabling teams to build and scale the platform efficiently. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing core platform architecture that is robust, scalable, secure, and maintainable in a data- and AI-driven environment.

You will also work closely with our backend engineers, acting as a technical partner and multiplier, supporting them, preparing and providing best practices, tooling, and architectural guardrails, to help them build and operate secure services at scale with strong cost awareness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, experience designing complex SaaS or data platforms, an understanding of cloud providers, and a proven track record of leading cross-team technical initiatives.
