Responsibilities
You will lead expansion of Ataraxis’s offerings to one of the next cancer types beyond breast cancer. Ataraxis has developed a pan-cancer AI platform that has been internally validated to perform well across various tumor types. This role will work on creating the right environment for the commercial launch in the next cancer type(s). In that process, you will:
Source real-world datasets, clinical trial datasets, and biobank resources to support AI model development and evaluation
Develop and manage a network of relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical advisors, early adopters, and research collaborators to validate hypotheses, gather insights, and identify potential customers and partners
Develop internal knowledge (memos, draft collateral material) in preparation for medical affairs/sales teams in the future
Work directly with the CEO to execute on this launch in record speed
Partner with engineering and research teams to inform clinical-grade model development
Qualifications
2+ years of industry experience in biotech, pharma, diagnostics, or healthcare strategy, management consulting, or finance
Preferred: MD, PhD, PharmD, NP, or Master's in MD, PhD, PharmD, NP, or a Master’s degree in cancer biology, molecular biology, cell biology, biomedical sciences, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related life sciences field
Ability to quickly and independently process and learn new and complex scientific and medical topics
Strong soft skills and being able to speak to various audiences, from medical key opinion leaders to software engineers. Optional but preferred: experience presenting scientific content to audiences
Preferred: Experience writing academic/scientific content (e.g., peer-reviewed manuscripts, academic grant applications)
