In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-4 pay band (GS-12 and GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer or computer scientist leading a project or team of at least 5 members on a task that includes software development or engineering the integration of software into a system. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. You will serve as the MEDAL Project Manager in the Tactical Software Innovation Branch (Code A43) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division.
You will lead a complex software development and integration project by performing planning, monitoring, documenting, and reporting project activities according to requirements from stakeholders, policy, and regulations.
You will create, review, and deliver documentation or presentations on software development project performance and status to team members, leadership, and/or stakeholders.
You will perform, review, and/or advise on software development or engineering products.
You will manage resources for a software development project and tasks to meet sponsor-approved budgets, schedules, and performance.
You will resolve problems and take corrective actions to avoid issues with cost, schedule, or performance.
You will communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with external programs, leadership, and stakeholders to share information and achieve project goals.
