Legal Administrative Specialist (Litigation Support)

For the GS-14: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in Federal service. Specialized experience includes experience working with software applications used in litigation support and e-discovery, including Relativity/RelOne; handling requests for Electronically Stored Information in response to pre-trial discovery motions, subpoenas, congressional inquiries, and Freedom of Information Act requests; and using the LexisNexis CaseMap suite, including CaseMap and TextMap to advise attorneys on its use in the development of case management approaches and strategies. Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS- 14 level. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements (e.g., time-in-grade and qualification requirements) within 30 days of the closing date specified in the vacancy announcement. As a Legal Administrative Specialist (Litigation Support) at the GS-0901-14, you will be part of the eDiscovery & Information Governance Division (eDIG), Office of General Counsel, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If selected, you will be responsible for the development of plans, methods, and procedures for the implementation of the agency's litigation support program and assist the Litigation Support Manager with overseeing the end-user workflow performed by personnel in eDIG.

Performs work involving the establishment, customization, and implementation of workflows in OGC's eDiscovery Review Management System (eDRMS) to facilitate end-user review of documents and electronically stored information.

Monitors and reports on the status of and progress of work, including checking on in-progress and completed work to ensure the supervisor's instructions on work priorities, methods, and deadlines and quality have been met.

Maintains program and administrative reference materials, project files and relevant background documents and makes available policies, procedures, and written instructions from the supervisor.

Creates procedures and training materials related to eDRMS workflow and production techniques, as applicable to litigation teams.

Consults with the Assistant General Counsel, eDIG, and the Litigation Support Manager to keep them informed of the status of various projects.
